Nissan Kicks Interior Review

If you are looking for the best interior space for a subcompact SUV, then the Kicks is a great option. The Kicks seats up to five and is quite comfortable for four full-size adult passengers. The interior design does a nice job of adding style elements like colored stitching to give kicks a unique flair. Buyers can expect an SUV that feels well made with plenty of must-have features. In our estimation, the Kicks would be a great vehicle for a young family, especially with the price being so affordable.

Kicks Technology

The Kicks comes standard with a 7" color touch-screen display but is immediately upgraded to the 8" touch-screen display for the Kicks SV and SR. All trim levels have Apple CarPlay® integration and Android Auto compatibility. The Kicks offers an available Bose Personal® Plus audio system with 8 speakers, including Bose UltraNearfield driver headrest speakers for those audiophiles out there. Using NissanConnect on your Kicks gives you the option to remotely start and lock your vehicle from your phone. Automatic temperature control allows you to dial in your specific heating and cooling preferences. The best part is that you can have a completely loaded Kicks for under $28,000.

Kicks Seating Options

Up front, the driver and passenger both get Nissan's "zero gravity" seats, which they say were inspired by space-age technology and help provide a more "neutral posture" and offer support that can help reduce fatigue. The whole interior comes in your choice of cloth or the optional two-tone Prima-Tex synthetic leather with orange French stitching. Available Heated seats and a steering wheel will keep you warm on those cold winter mornings.

Kicks Cargo Space

Utilizing the Kicks' 60/40 split seating provides ample amounts of cargo space for most people's needs. With all of the seats up, the Kicks provides 25.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Placing the rear seats down increases this to 53 cubic feet, with 57 inches of length from the front seats to the rear. This makes the Kicks one of the best subcompact SUVs for cargo space.

Nissan Kicks Exterior

The Kicks' exterior was designed to make a statement-it's bold, fun, and sporty. At the front, you'll notice the signature Nissan V motion grille and eye-catching boomerang LED headlights, which provide enhanced aerodynamics. Nissan added fender flares with a sleek bodyline that really brings out the car's personality. The dark lower body trim highlights the 7-inch ground clearance and provides protection against scrapes. With its high window line and flat roof, the Kicks offers ample headroom for rear passengers and a sense of spaciousness. The sporty vibe continues at the back with an available roof spoiler, wrap-around LED taillights, and a painted lower valance. The Kicks gives you the option of 16 or 17-inch wheels, both equipped with disc brakes on all four corners.
